Why These Harvard Professors Recommend Buying a Business


Harvard Business School professors Richard S. Ruback and Royce Yudkoff believe strongly in the long-term benefits of entrepreneurship.  While accepting a traditional consulting job may seem less risky in the short term compared to buying a small business, Ruback and Royce believe the stress levels of small business CEOs will be lower in the long run.

According to their article, any anxiety associated with a small business search, purchase, and first years of uncertainty is worth the risk due to the long term benefits of being the CEO of your own company.
